Huber Breaker

It is outrageous to think that an entire building, lifestyle, and workforce had been in place simply to break pieces of anthracite coal into smaller pieces for common consumption – since 1900.  The Huber Breaker is no longer, but the site remains a memorial to those who worked in the Northern Coal Field mining the Blue Coal.

One smoke stack remains, photo virgin of adjustments.
Never forget.
Loved this photo, straight out of the camera.
The Power Plant.
The empty Blue Coal field.
