Atmospheric Perspective

Yesterday Kyle and I walked across the Ben Franklin Bridge from Philadelphia to Camden.  I was surprised by how blue everything was, the paint on the entire bridge, the sky, the river, the buildings, everything looked so blue – especially everything that was far away due to atmospheric perspective.  I always thought this was why the bridge looked hazy blue during the day, but it really is painted blue.

All of these photos were shot on Lucky Super 200 whatever film, and the only editing I did was rotating the landscape oriented ones.  I was quite pleased with how well-metered I had these, considering my camera over-exposes like its job.  My job is to figure out how my camera works, and I think I did it right.
