On September 15, 2010, I was given the opportunity to photograph Of Montreal at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia. With a little help from my friends, I got two free tickets and press passes. I had never photographed a concert decently before, so it was an experience of trial and error. It was a pleasant experience not to have to deal with an elbowing crowd. However, security’s policy of only shooting the first three songs of each act put pressure on me. With constantly changing light and moving subjects, I managed to combine every shutter, ISO, and aperture I had. I fired off some 300 photos, and narrowed it down to 25. Like I said, trial and error, but mostly error.
